Data Governance Executive Council

Data Governance Executive Council

The Data Governance Executive Council (Executive Council) includes the heads of the participating agencies, or their designees.

Sets the overall mission and strategic goals of the P-20 SLDS data governance effort.

Secures the funding, resources, and cooperation needed to support the data governance effort.

Makes decisions on an “enterprise perspective” – that is, on what is best for GVI as a whole instead of merely desirable for this or that subunit.

Will resolve strategic data governance problems that are escalated to their level (if other levels of data governance management are unable to resolve).

Review status of data governance initiatives within P-20 SLDS.

The Governor will chair the Executive Council.
